Amazon Fire TV Stick and Fire TV

Fire TV devices only install apps from the Amazon Appstore by default, so the first step is allowing one trusted app to install your player.

  1. Step 1

    Install Downloader

On the home screen, search for "Downloader" and install it from the Appstore. It is free.

  2. Step 2

    Allow it to install apps

Go to Settings, My Fire TV. If you do not see Developer options, open About and select your device name seven times. Then open Developer options, Install unknown apps, and switch Downloader on.

  3. Step 3

    Install the player

Open Downloader and type the address or code we send you for the recommended player. Install it, then delete the installer file when asked.

  4. Step 4

Open the player, choose to add a playlist with an Xtream Codes login, and enter your username, password and server address exactly as sent.

  5. Step 5

    Open a channel

Wait for the channel list to load, then open a news channel to confirm everything works.

Android TV, Google TV and Android boxes

Android-based TVs and boxes are the most flexible option: almost every IPTV player is available.

  1. Step 1

    Open Google Play

From the home screen, open the Apps section or Google Play Store.

  2. Step 2

    Install the player

Search for the player we recommended for your device and install it.

  3. Step 3

    Add your login

Choose Xtream Codes login (or M3U link if we sent one) and enter your details.

  4. Step 4

    Load and watch

Let the channels and TV guide load, then pick a channel.

Samsung and LG smart TVs

These TVs use their own app stores, so the choice of player is smaller, and some players have their own activation step.

  1. Step 1

    Open the TV's app store

Samsung: Apps. LG: LG Content Store.

  2. Step 2

    Install the recommended player

We suggest one that is available for your TV's model year.

  3. Step 3

Activate the app if it asks

Some players show a device ID and key on first launch. Follow the app's instructions; any fee here goes to the app developer, not to Boss IPTV.

  4. Step 4

    Add your playlist

Enter your login details or playlist link in the app, or on the app's website if it works that way.

  5. Step 5

    Restart the app

Close and reopen the player so it loads your channels, then open one.

Apple TV 4K, iPhone and iPad

Apple devices use the App Store. Several IPTV players are available; some are paid or use in-app purchases.

  1. Step 1

    Open the App Store

Search for the player we recommend and download it.

  2. Step 2

    Add your login

Choose Xtream Codes or M3U and enter the details we sent you.

  3. Step 3

    Open a channel

Wait for the list to load and start with a news channel.

Windows and Mac computers

Any modern computer can play Boss IPTV through a desktop player app.

  1. Step 1

    Install a desktop player

We will suggest one for your operating system.

  2. Step 2

    Add your playlist

Use your Xtream Codes login or M3U link.

  3. Step 3

    Watch

Open a channel; use full screen for the best picture.

Your login details

What the details we send you mean

Player apps ask for the same few things in slightly different words. Here is what each one is.

Type the server address exactly as sent, including http:// and any port number after a colon. One missing character is the most common reason a login fails.

If something looks wrong

The five setup snags we see most

Each one has a quick fix. If yours is not here, the support page goes deeper.

  • No Developer options on Fire TV

They are hidden until you select the device name seven times in Settings, My Fire TV, About.

  • The app is not in my TV's store

App availability depends on the model year and region. Send us the model and we will suggest an alternative.

  • Login rejected

Check spaces, capital letters and the full server address. Copy and paste beats typing.

  • Channels load but will not play

Restart the router, then the device. If it persists on every channel, message us.

  • The TV guide is empty

Use "Update EPG" in the player settings and allow a minute for it to download.
