What are you seeing?

Open the problem that matches yours and work through the steps in order. They are sorted from quickest to most thorough.

The two-minute restart

Restarting in the right order fixes more problems than anything else: switch off the streaming device, then the router. Turn the router back on first, wait two minutes, then the device.

  1. Do the two-minute restart: device off, router off, router on, wait, device on.
  2. Use a cable, or switch the device to your 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
  3. Pause big downloads, game updates and other streams in the house.
  4. Try another channel. If only one channel buffers, tell us which one.
  5. Still buffering on every channel? Message us with the time it happens and your device model.

  1. Re-enter the details by copy and paste. Passwords are case-sensitive.
  2. Check the server address includes http:// and any port number after a colon.
  3. Remove any space at the start or end of each field.
  4. Make sure your plan has not ended. If you are not sure, ask us.

  1. Refresh or reload the playlist in your player app; new and moved channels only appear after an update.
  2. Some event channels only broadcast while an event is on. Check again closer to start time.
  3. Send us the channel name and a photo of the error so we can check it.

  1. Open the player settings and choose "Update EPG" or "Refresh guide". Allow a minute.
  2. If times are off by an hour or more, set the time zone or guide offset in the player app.
  3. Some players need a separate guide link. Ask us for it if your app has an EPG URL field.

  1. Stop the channel and start it again.
  2. In the player settings, switch between hardware and software decoding.
  3. In your device's audio settings, try stereo or PCM output instead of passthrough, especially with a soundbar.

  1. Restart the device.
  2. On Fire TV and Android: Settings, Applications, choose the player, Clear cache. Do not clear data unless we suggest it, as you would need to sign in again.
  3. Free up storage by removing apps you no longer use.
  4. If it still crashes, reinstall the player and sign in again.

  1. Check another app, such as a video site, to confirm your internet is working.
  2. Do the two-minute restart.
  3. Check whether your plan was due to end.
  4. Message us. If the problem is on our side, we tell you what is happening and keep you updated.
